At Bean Bunny Designs we don’t like to make anything twice. Every table, every bench, and every board is a unique piece of art. The grain of wood has a personality and life of its own. Using live edge wood and epoxy we work with each piece, letting it express itself naturally. The result is a unique piece that brings nature and craft together in your home.

Our Boards
All of Bean Bunny Designs charcuterie boards are coated with several layers of Walrus brand food safe cutting board oil. Then they are properly cured to prevent drying and to keep a beautiful finish. We always include careful care instructions to help your charcuterie boards last.

Our Benches
Whether it is a short bench for the front hall or a long bench for the foot of the bed, Bean Bunny creates custom river benches that fit your home. Choose solid wood or wood with an epoxy river, along with solid steel legs. Cured with tung oil to last and polished with bee’s wax to bring out the natural grain of the wood.

Our Tables
Choose from small side tables, coffee tables of all shapes and sizes, or a full dining table. Bean Bunny has you covered. Polymerizing tung oil protects your beautiful wood surface from scratch and dings. A coating of cured bee’s wax brings out the shine. Whether sitting on hairpin legs or large powered coated black steel legs, let the natural details of wood and the flare of epoxy colours bring beauty to your home.
Design Choices - Live Edge Wood and Epoxy
First, you choose the type wood you want. Then we find an exciting piece of wood for you and send you a picture. With Bean Bunny Designs we always keep you in the loop and create your custom piece in full consultation with you!
We offer the following: Black Walnut, Spalted Maple, Red or White Oak Maple, Burl, and Olivewood (rare). We are also open to finding any other kind of wood that you may want for your project.
Next, you choose if you want a wood piece or if you want wood and epoxy.
Choose a river design, an ocean finish, our special “River Valley” design (clear epoxy on top of a blue river), or epoxy detailing of knotholes, etc. Epoxy is as strong as wood and we have turned even so called “waste wood” into art that a full grown man could stand on.
Finally, we offer a variety of strong and beautiful steel table legs in X-shape, u-shape, and a variety of other shapes, sourced through Rusty Design (https://rustydesign.ca/).
